EXAMPLE Graded Assignment - No Submission Required

  1. Listen to the video lecture titled Conscious of the Past: Vision and Memory, which features Dr. Paul Bloom at Yale University and is available at http://academicearth.org/lectures/bloom-intro-to-psychology . Then, open an MS Word document, click on Insert, click on Tables, and build a two-column, three-row table. Next, use the Cornell method to take lecture notes on this MS Word table. Upload your lecture notes, including any relevant diagrams, to the course LMS per your instructor’s instructions.
  2. In 500 words, discuss the following:
    • What Cornell method techniques appeal to you most, and why?
    • What other note-taking method do you believe would help you, and why?
